For the treatment of infections due to susceptible organisms including abscess, actinomycosis, anthrax, bites and stings, diphtheria, endocarditis, gas gangrene, Leptospirosis, Lyme disease, meningitis, Meningococcal infections, necrotizing enterocolitis, necrotizing fasciitis, neonatal conjunctivitis, perinatal streptococcal infections, pharyngitis, pneumonia, skin infections, syphilis, tetanus, toxic shock syndrome and Whipple’s disease.
